By now you know that avoiding added sugar can help keep your waistline in check, assist with mental clarity, and can help you have the fortitude to resist cravings. All good things!
However, sugar is hidden in plain sight in many common foods. Lindsay Martin addressed this a few weeks ago right here and I’ve heard from many of you label readers out there that you aren’t seeing sugar on the ingredient list. Very sneaky, sugar.
It may surprise you to know that it is 100% completely legal to change the name of sugar in to something else on a food label.

- Glucose
- Galactose
- Lactose
- High fructose corn syrup
- Glucose solids
- Cane juice
- Dehydrated cane juice
- Cane juice solids
And more…
